Role Overview

PetSmart’s Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care in a dynamic retail environment, sharing store cleanliness duties and recommending wellness solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and consultations in-person or via phone.
• Ensure safe environments for pets, associates, and customers; respond to sick/injured pets immediately.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.
• Recommend merchandise/services and participate in our culture of Belonging.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy pet environments with live animals.
