Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Bethesda, MD location, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and uphold safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with opportunities for advancement in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
- Ensure safe environments; transport sick pets to vets as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and recommend health/wellness products.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling comfort, customer service skills, organizational prowess, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy pet environments.
