Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Biddeford, Maine location, you'll deliver exceptional salon services while engaging pet parents. This entry-level role emphasizes pet safety, customer satisfaction, and upholding PetSmart's vision through professional bathing and grooming services.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full menu of bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or via phone.
• Ensure safe environments, identify and address sick/injured pets, transport to vet as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, recommend merchandise/services, assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Must be flexible for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, exposure to wet environments, pet hair, and moderate noise.
