Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, you'll engage pet parents, deliver exceptional salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, and teeth cleaning. Uphold safety standards, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to positive pet experiences while recommending wellness solutions.
Essential Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
- Perform full menu of bath services independently per company standards.
- Ensure safe environment; transport sick pets to vet if needed.
- Maintain store cleanliness and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring pet handling comfort, customer service skills, and physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs. Need computer proficiency, pressure-handling ability, flexible scheduling, organizational detail, and strong communication. Exposure to wet environments, pet hair, and moderate noise common.
