Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Bismarck, ND store, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and uphold pet safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
- Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions/merchandise.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and ensure safe environments for pets, associates, and customers.
- Identify and act on sick/injured pets, transporting to vets as needed; assist other departments.
- Follow all policies, participate in recognition culture.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling passion, computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a wet, noisy, pet-hair-filled environment with live animals.
