Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Bloomington, IN location, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and ensure pet safety. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Uphold PetSmart's vision by providing positive experiences and recommending wellness solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full menu of bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
• Maintain cleanliness, identify sick/injured pets, and transport to vet if needed.
• Sell merchandise/services and assist other departments as required.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, and composure under pressure. Proficiency in computers, excellent communication, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for shifts, and work in wet/noisy environments with animals. Passion for pets is essential.
