Role Overview

The Pet Bather role combines hands-on pet care with exceptional customer service in our vibrant salon. You'll deliver professional bathing services, ensure pet safety, and enhance the pet parent experience. This entry-level position offers flexibility, development, and the chance to make a meaningful impact daily in a fun, pet-filled environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full menu of bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per company standards.
• Greet pet parents, manage check-in/out, reservations, and provide wellness recommendations.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and a safe environment for pets, associates, and customers.
• Identify and respond to sick/injured pets, including vet transport if needed; assist other departments as required.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, and proficiency in computer applications. You must communicate effectively, stay composed under pressure, and be available evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), standing, stooping in a wet, pet-hair-filled environment with moderate noise.
