Role Overview

PetSmart’s Professional Bather delivers exceptional grooming services, ensuring positive experiences for pets and pet parents. This entry-level role involves bathing, brushing, nail trims, and more, while maintaining salon standards, safety, and cleanliness. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential in this dynamic pet retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and safety certification to perform full bath/brush services independently.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and provide expert advice.
• Ensure pet safety, identify sick/injured pets, and transport to vet if needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, recommend products, and assist other departments.
• Uphold company policies and participate in a culture of recognition.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in a wet, pet-filled environment with moderate noise.
