Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care in a dynamic retail environment, sharing store cleanliness duties and recommending wellness solutions. Ideal for animal lovers seeking meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services per standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle reservations, check-in/out, answer questions.
• Ensure safe environment; transport sick/injured pets to vet if needed.
• Recommend health products/services and sell merchandise.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness; assist other departments as required.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Need proficiency in computers, composure under pressure, flexible availability (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, attention to safety/detail, strong communication. Physical demands: lift 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), stand/walk extensively, handle pets in wet/noisy environment with pet hair exposure.
