Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Brantford store, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering professional bath and brush services while upholding PetSmart's vision for pet safety and satisfaction. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform full grooming services including baths, brushes, nail trims, and teeth brushing.
- Maintain safety standards and respond to pet health issues.
- Recommend products, ensure store cleanliness, and support other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, schedule flexibility, organizational skills, and excellent communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a wet, pet-filled environment.
