Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Bridgeville, PA store, you'll engage pet parents and their furry friends, delivering top-tier salon services while upholding safety and cleanliness standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience, customer interaction, and opportunities to advance in pet retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Master PetSmart’s Splash training for safe, professional bathing.
- Execute full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per company standards.
- Handle check-ins/outs, reservations, and consultations with pet parents.
- Maintain a safe environment; respond to sick/injured pets by transporting to vet if needed.
- Recommend wellness solutions, sell merchandise, and keep salon/store spotless.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates thrive under pressure, stay organized, and communicate effectively. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking extensively, and working in wet, pet-hair-filled environments with moderate-to-high noise. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays essential. Computer proficiency a plus.
