Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Bridgewater, NJ location, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. This entry-level role focuses on safe, high-quality baths, brushes, and add-ons, ensuring positive experiences and upholding PetSmart's standards for pet safety and store excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full-service baths, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services independently.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person and via phone.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend health/wellness solutions.
• Ensure pet safety, respond to emergencies, and assist other departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Proficiency in computers, composure under pressure, and excellent communication are essential. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
