Role Overview

As a Pet Bather in our Brookfield, Wisconsin location, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering exceptional salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care. Uphold PetSmart's vision by ensuring pet safety, recommending solutions, and maintaining a clean environment. This entry-level role offers flexibility and growth in pet retail.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
• Independently perform full menu of bath services per company standards.
• Ensure safe environment; respond to sick/injured pets and transport to vet if needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, recommend/sell products, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk extensively, and work evenings/weekends/holidays. Passion for pets and comfort handling animals in wet, noisy environments essential.

Physical Demands

Requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs (team lift 100+ lbs), stooping, reaching, and exposure to pet hair, water, and moderate noise.
