Role Overview

The Pet Bather role is perfect for animal lovers who thrive in a fast-paced salon setting. You'll deliver top-tier bathing services, engage with pet parents, and ensure a safe, clean space. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience with pets while contributing to store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full grooming services like baths, brushes, nail trims, and sanitary care per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and provide exceptional pet parent experiences.
• Maintain safety for pets, associates, and customers; report and transport sick pets as needed.
• Recommend health products, uphold cleanliness, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment with moderate noise and wetness.
