Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services, engage pet parents, and ensure a safe, clean salon environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with full training provided through PetSmart's Splash program.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete check-in/out procedures, greet pet parents, and manage reservations.
- Independently perform baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per company standards.
- Recommend wellness solutions, sell merchandise, and maintain salon cleanliness.
- Monitor pet health, take action on injuries, and ensure safety for all.
- Assist other departments and participate in store culture initiatives.
Experience & Skills
No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet hair-filled, wet environment with moderate noise.
