Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our Calgary, Alberta store involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean environment. Ideal for animal lovers seeking flexible hours and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions/merchandise.
• Ensure safe environments for pets, associates, and customers; respond to sick/injured pets by transporting to vet.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.
• Follow all company policies while participating in recognition programs.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Success demands pet handling comfort, customer service skills, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, organizational detail, and flexible scheduling for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a wet, noisy, pet-filled environment.
