Role Overview

The Pet Bather role is perfect for animal lovers who thrive in a fast-paced pet salon. You'll deliver top-tier bathing services, engage with pet parents, and maintain a safe, clean space. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in pet care with room to advance into grooming or leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full grooming services including baths, brushes, nail trims, and sanitary care per company standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and provide exceptional pet parent experiences.
• Monitor pet health, report issues, and ensure a safe environment.
• Recommend products, maintain salon cleanliness, and assist other departments as needed.

Experience & Skills

No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, organizational prowess, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for shifts, and working in a pet-filled environment.
