Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering professional bathing services while upholding PetSmart's vision. Share responsibility for store cleanliness, pet safety, and recommending wellness solutions in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing independently.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Ensure safe environment; transport sick pets to vet as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring pet handling passion, computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and flexibility for evenings/weekends. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and exposure to wet/hair-filled environments with animals.
