Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Cedar Rapids, Iowa location, you'll deliver exceptional salon services while engaging pet parents. This entry-level role emphasizes pet safety, customer satisfaction, and upholding PetSmart's values through professional bathing and grooming services.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions in-person and via phone.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and recommend health/wellness solutions.
- Ensure safe environment; transport sick/injured pets to vet as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a wet, pet-filled environment with moderate noise.
