Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Chantilly, VA salon, you'll deliver exceptional bathing services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards, recommend solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
- Perform baths, brushes, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services.
- Identify and address sick/injured pets, transporting to vet if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist across departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet passion, computer skills, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, organizational prowess, communication strengths, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet, noisy settings with animals.
