Role Overview
PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional grooming services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail salon setting, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
- Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend health solutions.
- Maintain salon cleanliness, ensure pet safety, and assist across departments as needed.
- Identify and address sick/injured pets promptly, transporting to vet if required.
Experience & Skills
No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in wet, pet-filled environments.
