Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional grooming services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our vibrant Charleston store involves hands-on pet care, customer interaction, and maintaining a clean salon space. Ideal for animal lovers seeking flexible, impactful work.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle reservations, check-ins/outs, and recommend wellness solutions.
• Ensure pet safety, report issues, and transport to vet if needed.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments as required.
• Drive sales through merchandise and service recommendations.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Successful candidates demonstrate pet affinity, customer service skills, organizational prowess, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing for shifts, and working in a pet-filled environment. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, holidays essential.
