Role Overview
The Pet Bather role involves delivering exceptional grooming services like baths, brushes, nail trims, and teeth brushing. You'll engage pet parents, ensure safety, and contribute to store operations in a fast-paced salon environment. This entry-level position offers training and advancement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and perform all bathing services independently.
- Handle check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and provide outstanding pet parent experiences.
- Maintain a safe, clean salon; respond to pet health issues promptly.
- Recommend products and services to enhance pet wellness.
- Assist across departments and uphold company policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling comfort, customer service skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends. Must lift 50 lbs, stand for shifts, and thrive in a pet-filled, sometimes noisy/wet environment. Strong organization, communication, and composure under pressure essential.
