Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional grooming services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean salon, perfect for animal lovers seeking flexible, impactful work.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions.
• Ensure pet safety, respond to sick/injured pets, and transport to vets as needed.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments.
• Drive sales through merchandise and service recommendations.

Experience & Skills

No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment with moderate noise and wetness.
