Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Cheektowaga, NY location, you'll deliver professional bathing services while engaging pet parents. This entry-level role ensures positive experiences, upholds safety standards, and supports store operations in a fast-paced pet salon environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and perform full bath/brush services independently.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
- Recommend wellness solutions, sell merchandise, and maintain salon cleanliness.
- Ensure pet safety, respond to sick/injured pets, and assist across departments.
- Follow all policies while participating in our inclusive culture.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, composure under pressure, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in a wet, pet-filled environment with moderate noise.
