Role Overview

PetSmart’s Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean salon environment in our Cherry Hill store. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential in this dynamic pet retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and safety certification to perform bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and provide wellness recommendations.
• Ensure pet safety, respond to sick/injured pets by transporting to vet if needed, and maintain salon cleanliness.
• Sell merchandise/services and assist other departments as required.
• Follow all policies while participating in our recognition culture.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, composure under pressure, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk extensively, and work in wet, noisy environments with live animals. Depth perception and team lifting for heavier loads needed.
