Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Chilliwack store, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while ensuring pet safety and positive experiences. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care, customer engagement, and maintaining salon standards in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per company standards.
- Greet pet parents, manage check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Maintain cleanliness, ensure safe environments, and handle sick/injured pets promptly.
- Assist other departments, sell merchandise, and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling comfort, customer service skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy conditions with animals.
