Role Overview

The Pet Bather role is perfect for animal lovers seeking entry-level opportunities in pet retail. You'll deliver professional bathing services, engage pet parents, and uphold safety standards in a dynamic salon environment. This position demands physical stamina, customer focus, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Physical Demands

Expect to stand, walk, lift up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), stoop, kneel, and work in wet, pet-hair-filled areas with moderate to high noise. Depth perception and animal handling are key.

Key Responsibilities

Drive positive pet parent experiences through greetings, reservations, check-in/out, and solution recommendations. Independently perform baths, brushes, nail trims, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards. Maintain salon/store cleanliness, ensure pet safety, and assist other departments as needed. Follow all policies and participate in recognition programs.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—complete our Splash training! Ideal candidates excel in computer use, pressure handling, organization, safety focus, and communication. Passion for pets and flexibility are musts.
