Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Collegeville, PA salon, you'll engage pet parents and pets, deliver top-tier bathing services, and uphold our vision for pet safety and wellness. Share store cleanliness duties while recommending solutions. Ideal for animal lovers seeking flexible, rewarding work.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Ensure safe environments; act on sick/injured pets, including vet transport.
- Maintain cleanliness, sell merchandise/services, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Required Qualifications
- Computer proficiency.
- Composure under pressure.
- Flexible availability (evenings, weekends, holidays).
- Organizational skills, attention to detail/safety.
- Strong communication.
Physical Demands
Stand/walk extensively, lift 50+ lbs (team lift 100+), work in wet/hairy environments with moderate-high noise and live animals. Depth perception required.
