Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Columbia, Maryland store, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and ensure pet safety. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with flexible scheduling, perfect for animal lovers seeking rewarding retail work.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
- Recommend health/wellness products and maintain salon/store cleanliness.
- Ensure safe environments; respond to sick/injured pets and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and work evenings/weekends/holidays. Passion for pets and pet parents essential.
