Role Overview
The Pet Bather role delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level position involves hands-on pet care in a dynamic retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and perform bath/brush, nail trims, and sanitary services per standards.
- Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and ensure safe environments for pets, associates, and customers.
- Identify and act on sick/injured pets, assist other departments, and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Success demands pet-handling comfort, customer service prowess, organizational skills, communication, and composure under pressure. Physical ability to stand, lift 50+ lbs (team lift 100+), and work in wet, noisy settings with animals is essential.
