Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety/cleanliness standards. This entry-level role suits animal lovers ready to thrive in a dynamic pet retail environment, working evenings, weekends, and holidays with physical demands including lifting up to 50lbs.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, sanitary services.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, answer questions, recommend solutions.
• Ensure safe environment; act on sick/injured pets, transport to vet as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, sell merchandise/services, assist other departments.
• Follow all policies, participate in recognition culture.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet handling passion, customer service skills, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, organizational detail-orientation, and strong communication. Physical ability to stand, lift 50lbs+, work in wet/noisy environments with animals essential.
