Role Overview

Our Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role involves hands-on pet care in a dynamic retail environment, sharing store cleanliness duties and recommending wellness solutions. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential in this pet-focused position.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions in-person or by phone.
• Ensure safe environments; transport sick/injured pets to vets as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, sell merchandise/services, and assist other departments.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required – we provide training! Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, organizational skills, attention to safety, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, exposure to wet/hairy environments, moderate-high noise, and live animals. Reasonable accommodations available.
