Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering professional bath and brush services while upholding PetSmart's vision. Share responsibility for store cleanliness, pet safety, and recommending wellness solutions in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full menu of bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, manage reservations.
- Ensure safe environment; transport sick pets to vet as needed.
- Maintain store cleanliness and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring pet handling comfort, customer service skills, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and thrive in wet, noisy settings with live animals. Strong communication, organization, and composure under pressure essential.
