Role Overview
As a Pet Bather, you'll engage pet parents, deliver exceptional salon services like baths, brushes, nail trims, and more. Uphold safety standards, recommend solutions, and maintain cleanliness while working flexibly in a pet-filled environment.
Essential Physical Demands
Stand, walk, lift up to 50lbs (team lift 100lbs+), handle pets in wet/hairy conditions with moderate-high noise. Depth perception required; reasonable accommodations available.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform full grooming services per PetSmart standards.
- Ensure safe environment; act on sick/injured pets.
- Sell merchandise/services and maintain store cleanliness.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling, organizational skills, and strong communication. Passion for pets essential; no prior experience needed with training provided.
