Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our vibrant Coral Springs store involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean environment. Ideal for animal lovers seeking meaningful work with flexible scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions/merchandise.
• Ensure pet safety, respond to sick/injured pets by transporting to vet if needed.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments as required.
• Follow all policies, participate in Belonging initiatives.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Success demands pet passion, computer proficiency, pressure-handling composure, schedule flexibility (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational detail-orientation, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing/walking, exposure to wet/hairy environments and moderate-high noise around live animals.
