Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Coralville, Iowa store, you'll deliver exceptional grooming services while engaging pet parents. Uphold safety standards, recommend wellness solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with room for advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per standards.
- Greet pet parents, manage reservations, check-in/out procedures.
- Identify and address sick/injured pets, transport to vet if needed.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet passion, customer service skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand for shifts, and thrive in a fast-paced, pet-filled environment with moderate noise and wet conditions.
