Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Courtenay, BC location, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and maintain a safe, clean environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing per standards.
- Ensure pet safety, respond to injuries, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling passion, computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy environments with animals.
