Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Davenport, Florida store, you'll deliver exceptional salon services, engage pet parents, and ensure pet safety. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience with flexible scheduling, perfect for animal lovers seeking rewarding retail work.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person/phone/register.
- Maintain safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and transport to vet as needed.
- Recommend merchandise/services, uphold cleanliness, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible availability (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, wet/hairy environments, and animal handling.
