Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Denton, Texas location, you'll engage pet parents and their furry companions, delivering exceptional salon services while upholding PetSmart's vision of pet safety and satisfaction. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in pet care with room for advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full menu of bath, brush, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and provide pet parent consultations.
- Maintain salon cleanliness and recommend health/wellness solutions.
- Ensure safe environment; transport sick pets to vet if needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, and proficiency in computer applications. Physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs, standing, and working in a wet, pet-filled environment.
