Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Dover, Delaware location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, and more. Uphold our vision of pet safety, store cleanliness, and exceptional customer experiences. This entry-level role offers flexibility and development in a fun, pet-loving environment.
Essential Physical Demands
Stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs (team lift 100+ lbs), work in wet/hairy conditions with moderate to high noise. Exposure to live animals is common; reasonable accommodations available.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform full menu of bath services per PetSmart standards.
- Ensure safe environment; act on sick/injured pets.
- Maintain cleanliness and recommend products/services.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Seek candidates with pet passion, customer service skills, computer proficiency, pressure-handling ability, flexible scheduling, organizational detail, and strong communication. Participate in our culture of Belonging and Recognition.
