Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Dublin, California location, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering exceptional salon services while upholding PetSmart's vision of safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care experience in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services per company standards.
- Handle check-in/out, greet pet parents, answer questions, and manage reservations.
- Maintain store cleanliness, recommend products/services, and ensure pet safety.
- Assist with sick/injured pets, work other departments as needed, and follow all policies.
Experience & Skills
No prior grooming experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs, standing, and working in a wet, pet-filled environment with moderate noise.
