Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Duncan, British Columbia store, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering exceptional salon services while upholding safety standards and store cleanliness. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care and customer interaction in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations.
- Perform bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Recommend wellness solutions and merchandise; respond to sick/injured pets.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet-handling comfort, customer service skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet/noisy environments with animals.
