Role Overview

The Pet Bather role delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level position involves hands-on pet care in a dynamic retail environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs, working in wet conditions with pet hair, and moderate noise levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions/merchandise.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and ensure a safe environment for pets, associates, and customers.
• Identify and act on sick/injured pets, transporting to vet as needed.
• Assist other departments and follow all company policies.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—complete our Splash training! Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, composure under pressure, computer proficiency, and passion for pets. Must stand, lift 50lbs+, stoop, and handle live animals in a fast-paced setting.
