Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our East Aurora, NY location, you'll engage pet parents and pets, delivering exceptional salon services like baths, brushes, nail trims, and more. Uphold safety standards, recommend wellness solutions, and contribute to store cleanliness while working flexibly across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions.
- Perform full menu of bath services independently per company standards.
- Identify and address sick/injured pets, ensuring safe transport if needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and assist in other store areas as required.
Experience & Skills
Entry-level role requiring pet handling comfort, customer service skills, and physical ability to lift 50+ lbs. Must have computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Exposure to wet environments, pet hair, and moderate noise is common; depth perception required.
