Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our East Hanover, NJ location, you'll engage pet parents, deliver exceptional salon services, and uphold PetSmart's vision for pet safety and satisfaction. This entry-level role offers hands-on pet care while contributing to store operations and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent interactions in-person and via phone.
- Maintain safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and recommend wellness solutions.
- Ensure store cleanliness and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong communication, organizational skills, computer proficiency, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, and working in wet, pet-filled environments with moderate noise.
