Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Pet Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our East York store involves hands-on pet care, customer interaction, and maintaining a clean environment, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
• Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or by phone.
• Independently execute full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
• Identify and address sick/injured pets, transporting to vets as needed.
• Recommend wellness solutions, sell merchandise/services, and assist other departments.
• Maintain store cleanliness and participate in Belonging & Recognition culture.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have pet handling comfort, customer service skills, computer proficiency, composure under pressure, organizational detail, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a wet, noisy, pet-filled environment.
