Role Overview

PetSmart's Professional Bather delivers exceptional salon services, engages pet parents, and upholds safety standards. This entry-level role in our Eau Claire store involves hands-on pet care, customer interactions, and maintaining a clean, safe environment amid a dynamic pet retail setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Splash training and perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary shaves per PetSmart standards.
• Greet pet parents, handle check-in/out, reservations, and recommend wellness solutions.
• Ensure pet safety, report sick/injured animals, and transport to vet if needed.
• Maintain salon/store cleanliness and assist other departments as required.
• Drive sales through merchandise/service recommendations while following all policies.

Experience & Skills

No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, strong communication, organizational skills, and composure under pressure. Must lift 50+ lbs, stand extensively, and work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays. Comfort with pets, wet environments, moderate noise, and physical demands essential.
