Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Ellicott City, Maryland store, you'll engage pet parents and their pets, delivering exceptional salon services like bathing, brushing, nail trims, and more. Uphold PetSmart's vision by ensuring pet safety, store cleanliness, and positive customer experiences while recommending wellness solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and greet pet parents.
- Perform full menu of bath services independently per company standards.
- Maintain safe environments and respond to sick/injured pets.
- Recommend products/services and assist other departments as needed.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills, attention to safety, flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays, and proficiency in computer applications. Physical demands include lifting up to 50lbs, standing, and working in a pet-filled environment.
