Role Overview
As a Pet Bather in our Fajardo, Puerto Rico location, you'll deliver exceptional salon services while engaging pet parents. This entry-level role ensures positive experiences, pet safety, and store excellence through bathing, grooming services, and customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification.
- Perform full bath/brush services, nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary care per standards.
- Handle check-in/out, reservations, and pet parent consultations in-person or by phone.
- Maintain safe environments, respond to sick/injured pets, and transport to vets as needed.
- Recommend merchandise/services, uphold cleanliness, and assist other departments.
Experience & Skills
No prior experience required—training provided. Ideal candidates have computer proficiency, composure under pressure, flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends/holidays), organizational skills, and strong communication. Physical demands include lifting 50+ lbs, standing, stooping in a pet hair/wet environment with moderate noise.
